- A perfect product for ultimate safety, these are direct indicating level gauges for clear and hazardous liquids under high temperature and pressure.
- This is how they are built. Connected on side of vessels, these gauges have liquid chamber made out of single piece rod or forging. Liquid level in the slotted chamber is seen through thermally pre-stressed, temperature resistant heavy-duty glasses.
- These plate glasses are clamped firmly on the chamber using steel cover plates and nut bolts. Carefully machined seating surface for the glass, matching gasket - CAF / PTFE / metallic and soft cushion ensure positive sealing between chamber and glass.
- These products special option are: Isolation/drain valves (built-in isolation valves with auto-shut off ball check arrangement), BoltedOS & Y forged bonnet (see sketch) or screwed bonnet.
- These gauges can be offered with IBR approval. Scales, made of SS/acrylic/anodised alumin, are engraved in cms.
- They come with high grade Mica/KLF protection against high temperature liquids which may react and render glass opaque.
- For better visibility at sub zero temperatures, non-frost extension made of clear transparent perspex is offered.
- Hot steam is passed along the length of the gauge to avoid solidification, thus offering built in heating jacket.
- They have wide angle Perspex reflector with bright light source enclosed in flameproof enclosure to IS2148 Gr. IIa, IIb & IIc as specified.
- These reflex/transparent gauges are designed specially to meet most exacting requirements of petrochemical, fertiliser, pharmaceutical & chemical industries - involving inflammable, toxic liquids under high temperature and pressure.
