Punches, “Knock Out”

Textron India offers Greenlee “Knock Out” Punches, best suited for making holes in sheet metal of varying thickness up through 3.5 mm. The dies are available for circular, rectangular and square punches. Special paunches like for oil tight punches, key punches or electronic connector panel punches are also available. The circular punches are available from 22.5 to 61.5 mm diameter. The KO Punch is a hydraulic device, which applies 6 tonnes of pressure and makes a burr free punch. The dies sit on either side of the plate being punched and the punch is made through shearing under hydraulic pressure. The device is best suited for making gland plate holes or emergency holes at site in painted panels. There is a special version of KO Punch available for punching in stainless steel.
