Pulsed-UV Curing Systems

Curing systems are among the critical needs of industry to: reduce costs, increase throughput (line speed); increase quality, uniformity and yield; increase uptime of production equipment; simplify system design and integration; reduce power consumption; and also to process challenging materials such as thin, heat-sensitive materials and opaque materials. Pulsed-UV curing systems are manufactured by Xenon Corporation, a leading producer of high-intensity, low-heat light sources and systems to quickly cure industrial adhesives, inks, and resists, lacquers and other coatings and to sterilise surfaces. Pulsed UV system consists of: high efficiency power supply; energy storage element; pulse forming network; high-speed electronics trigger system; in-line process control; pulsed UV lamp ?the heart of the system; and UV optics. These have applications in DVD bonding, large format printing, medical device assembly, semi-conductors, etc. Various models are available.
