PTFE HEAT-SHRINKABLE TUBINGS

Udey Instruments offers PTFE Heat-Shrinkable Tubings. It is manufactured from selected tubes. It once again shrinks back to almost original size, when it is exposed to melting and has no effect on the mechanical, electrical or chemical properties. Its shrinkage ratios are 2:1 and 4:1. The pressure exerted by heat-shrinkable tubing is sufficient to tightly connect the heat-shrinkable tubing to the object. It has proven its worth for measuring probes, electrical connections and aviation connectors. Its shrink temperature is approximately 340°C and can be recognised optically. It becomes transparent when the get temperature is reached.
