Proximity switches, hyperprox & tripleprox

Balluff India offers the new Hyperprox and Tripleprox range of proximity switches, to overcome the problem of switch failing due to mechanical damages, not enough mechanical tolerance or the standard sensing range being too less. The Tripleprox and Hyperprox series of proximity switches has set new standards for switching distances. The Tripleprox has 3 times the standard switching distance, ie,3 x Sn (where Sn stands for the standard switching distance of that switch). The Hyperprox has 4 times the standard switching distance, ie, 4 x Sn (where Sn stands for the standard switching distance of that switch). For example a normal M12 proximity switch with flush mounting has a sensing range of 2 mm. The same Tripleprox M12 proximity switch with flush mounting will have a sensing range of 3 x Sn, ie, 3 x 2 = 6 mm. While the Hyperprox proximity switch with flush mounting will have a sensing range of 4 x Sn, ie, 4x 2 = 8 mm. The 4x switching distance of the hyperprox is the worlds first. The characteristic of switches with 4x extended sensing range is that signal deviations of below 1% must be reliably processed. This problem has been solved by the development of patented processes, which are integrated into ASICs.
