Programmable Peristaltic Pump

Electronic Engg Corporation offers a programmable peristaltic pump. A microcomputer controller is used in this pump for high accuracy and easily programmable flow rate control. A LED digital display indicates the pump speed/flow rate. The display and flow rate reading can be adjusted by soft-touch keyboard switches from minimum to maximum in 1400 steps. The timer can be programmed to operate the pump for any set period from 1 minute to 24 hours, in steps of 1 minute. Two and threeroller pump heads with multi-channel provisions are available that accept any flexible elastomer tubing from 2 to 8 mm diameter. The flow range is adjustable from 1 ml/hour to 100 litre/hr. Some typical applications are for: film coating of tablets in pharmaceutical plants, fermentation/cell culture, food processing, biotechnology, and chemical process engineering. It is essential whenever fluid is to be delivered under sterile conditions, or without cross-contamination at a precise flow rate.
