Programmable Logic Controllers

Dhruva Automation & Controls offers a Programmable Logic Controller. It consists of a base unit and expansion units. It also has built-in LCD display and real time clock. The basic unit comes with 8 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. Output of the 8 DI available on the base unit, 2 inputs can also be used as 0-10 V DC inputs. Each expansion module has 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. It can handle maximum input as 24 DI, 16 DO and 8 AI. The unit can operate on 100-240 V AC/DC, 12/24 V DC and 24 V AC. Option of transistor or relay output is available. The PLC can accept 2 inputs of 2 kHz. The built-in display is used for accessing and modifying parameters and also for programming the PLC in function blocks. It is also programmed through ladder logic via computer. 32 different types of expansion modules are available. The PLC also has added on HMI, which can be used for accessing and modifying various parameters, such as timers, counters, data registers, within the PLC. The PLC can handle high speed I/Os up to 20 KHz. It provides extremely cost effective solution for various applications of process and machine control such as like SPMs, conveyors, washing systems, AMF controller, material handling, etc.
