Bull"s Eye has introduced import substitute UK-100 series program controller for batch and continuous process applications. Reliable hardware and proven software take care of simple to complex tasks ranging from single loop PID control to multi variable program control requirements. The controller can accept 4 sensor inputs simultaneously including RTD, thermo-couple of any type, current/voltage input, etc. A high resolution A to D converter enhances the controller performance. The 4 bi-directional control outputs are full function PID with the choice of actions like time proportioning, current/voltage O/P or Up/Down. The controller can also accept 8 digital inputs and provide 8 additional digital outputs for process automation without having to add additional systems. A large non-volatile memory is available to store 50 programs of 100 segments of profile programming [each segment having set value, rate/auxiliary set value, time, event relay setting, operator call]. Real time clock/calendar is built-in. RS-232/RS-485 interface is available for communication with PC/printer. The front combo-panel combines a 16x 2 alphanumeric backlit LCD for ease of programming and detailed monitoring along with 4 x 2 7-segment LED displays for distance viewing of important variables. Also, provided are 8 LED indicators which can be configured to display any of the I/Os in a virtual mode. Sealed membrane keypad is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. UK-100 is housed in a compact 1/4 DIN case [96 x 96 x 110 mm] and can be powered by universal mains 85-264 V AC. The applications include: oven/furnace/environmental chamber control, heat treatment, textile processing, chromatography, carbon % control, air-conditioning control, crystal growth, etc.
