Sensor Development Inc, USA, offers an efficient cost effective system for process monitoring and control. Tracker 2000 is ideal for measuring force and torque in applications such as fastening, stamping, crimping, part testing, broaching, and injection moulding. It is a distributed sensor network consisting of four types of stations. Each station runs its own independent program, transmitting and receiving data according to the task. Up to 100 sensor stations can be networked together. It provides four operating modes for process monitoring and data collecting, including a continuous tracking mode, unidirectional and bidirectional peak modes for simple processes and unique profile tracking for more complex ones. The distributed network approach eliminates the need for a central controller.
