Power Capacitors

Saha Sprague Limited offers Power Capacitors, SVAR. These are heavy duty capacitors of individual ratings from 2 kVAR to 15 kVAR. Features: compact size cells; ECCOL jelly filled wet type, PP capacitors; suitable for very heavy duty, harmonic laden environments; operating temperature range -46°C to 46°C; capacitors capable of continuous operation at 120% of rated voltage; can withstand up to 135% of rated current continuously; can handle high level of harmonies; UL recognised three phase pressure interrupters; and 10 kA fault clearing capacity; CSA and CE recognized; kVAR delivery constant throughout the life, only positive tolerance of 0% to +5% allowed; low losses less than 0.25 W per kVAR-including discharge resistors; & designed life of 20 years.
