Power capacitors

Baron Power offers Frako 3-phase cylindrical aluminium case, heavy-duty, dry type power capacitors. They have high life expectancy and comply with International Standards. These capacitors come with integrated discharge resistors and patented concealed spring-loaded terminal for additional safety. Mechanical construction: cylindrical aluminium case with di-electric consisting of metallised polypropylene foil. The di-electric is self-healing, failing which the cover plate which is designed as an over load valve is raised enabling the capacitors to be disconnected from the mains during break down. Impregnation is dry type filled with flame inhibiting, stabilized mineral filler. Current load capacity is 3 times the rated current at 400 V/50 Hz permanently and 350 times the rated current during short peak currents. Voltage load capacity is.3 times for one minute.
