Pluggable terminal box

Balluff India offers Merio, a pluggable terminal box from Murrelectronik GmbH. This applies a new standard, a goal to reduce the installation and set-up time in control cabinets. Electrical machine and application installations need to be quick and cost saving. The permanent time and cost pressure requires intelligent and efficient concepts for control cabinets. In the Merio concept all connections are plug-in connections - the power supply excluded. This means that sensors, actuators, Field-bus modules or connection cables can be quickly and easily connected. The plug-in connections reduce the installation and set-up times, because there is no more single wiring needed. Wiring mistakes get prevented, too, because all connectors are pre-wired. Maximum safety is ensured. In addition, even more costs can be saved via standardized solutions, when in planning it is taken care of repeating units.
