Plastic Film Capacitors

Neotroniks offer Plastic Film Capacitors, KT 11. It is meant for severe AC applications and for power electronics. It is a general purpose capacitor ideal for applications like filtering and quenching, especially as ripple current filters, across SSRs in power supply circuits as part of an R-C, required to handle high voltages. Also used extensively in AC motor speed control circuits, like fan speed regulators and dimmer circuits. It is a non-inductively wound polyester capacitor with aluminium foil electrode, vacuum impregnated; and radial leads with tin coated copper wire, encased in plastic box, resin sealed. Specifications - capacitance range: 0.001 µF to 0.22 µF; voltage range: 400 V - 630 V; 1 kV; and dissipation factor: £ 7 x 10-3 at 1 kHz.
