Pipe Wrapping Scrim Fabric

The Pipe Wrapping Scrim Fabric is a fibre glass fabric also known as "scrim fabric" and is a open weave fabric ranging from 80 to 110 gsm / Sq.Mtr. This is used as a reinforcement to keep the protective non-corrosive resin & tar coating without cracking on the pipe. The cloth comes in width of 330mm, 500mm & 1000mm depending upon the diameter of the pipe to be wound. The cloth is inert in nature and can be treated to be compatible with epoxy, phenolic, polyester or PU resin systems. This product finds use in projects like thermal / hydal power stations and oil & gas pipeline laying.
