In panel bending systems, the Salvagnini P4 provides the most technologically advanced solution for the production of sheet metal panels with bends up to 3200 mm long and 330 mm high and thickness up to 3 mm. Thanks to the extreme flexibility of these systems, and to Salvagnini"s versatile and intuitive proprietary control software, it is possible to optimise different production jobs, including batch one, with the construction of products dedicated to the customer"s specific needs. Automatic bending tool set-up takes only a few seconds, to meet requirements from customers for frequent production changes. The production of panels, from the drawing to the finished product, is assisted by CAD/CAM solutions that automatically generate the numerical control programs. The manipulator on the P4 Panel Benders handles the sheet automatically with preferential rotations of 90?, 180? and 270? or any other intermediate angle. The absolute precision of the manipulator guarantees the excellent precision of the bent panel. The systems can also run without operator supervision - it can produce programmed sequences of batches in unmanned mode, under the supervision of diagnostic autostop devices with remote alarms. A robot can also be used to load the sheets onto the machine and unload the finished panels in a completely automated manner and in masked time.
