Pallet mill

This mill fabricated by Hardcase Engineering Works is robustly engineered, with mild steel welded construction of the mill housing. A central lubrication system through drilled holes in the main shaft provides continuous lubrication of the main rotor and roller bearings. Other features: chrome steel, gun drilled, vacuum hardened die (imported) and two rollers; heavy-duty spherical roller bearings for the rotor and the die; and the main shaft is on taper roller bearings for Model HPM 520 and on bronze bush for model HPM 420. The conditioners and the feeder are from free operation. Hinged doors are provided in the conditioner for regular cleaning and maintenance. The conditioner paddles are easily adjustable to regulate retention time. The main hinged door is clad with stainless steel on the inside. The simple sliding roller assembly makes for quick replacement of die and rollers. The spout from conditioner to the die is made of stainless steel with a built-in permanent magnet. The shear pin arrangement is to protect against damage due to overload, caused by foreign objects. The main driven pulley is bolted to the rotor and both are dynamically balanced. The main drive is through "V" belts.
