Onload changeover switches

Havell"s India offers Euroload onload changeover switches. The need for continuous power supply, reliable in terms of stability and quality is increasing rapidly in most areas, be it in industries, commercial complexes, hospitals, hotels or even modern residences. Modern systems are power dependent. With power cuts being a frequent phenomenon, the necessity for independent stand by power system has therefore increased manifolds. Power transfer from main supply to stand by power supply and vice versa is vital for all kinds of loads. Hence, the stand by power supply needs to be integrated with the main supply. This is achieved by an onload changeover switch. Euroload changeover switches provide the right solution and choice. The switches developed under technical know-how from a German associate and designed to suit the Indian application conditions, cover a comprehensive range in five frame sizes from 125 A-3150 A in 4-pole execution. The switch is compact in size, modular in construction with the switching cum operating mechanism housed in a polyester reinforced, moulded frame/cover to provide excellent mechanical, thermal and insulating properties. The switching mechanism is quick make, quick break with contacts having high load breaking capacity. The switches are suitable for stringent AC23A duty and fully compliant to latest IEC/IS standards. The terminals are liberally designed to take copper and aluminium cables/busbars. The switches are provided with handle with door interlock and padlocking facility and auxiliary contacts for signalling and interlocking. These are available for use in both open execution and in sheet enclosure.
