Oil Absorber

Terra Consult India manufactures Oil Absorber, UROSORB. It absorbs free flowing hydrocarbon liquids immediately. It absorbs Oil and repels water. It has a capacity of absorbing up to 60 times of its weight. UROSORB pads and booms will float without sinking even after completely saturating with oil. It is Non-flammable, non-toxic, non-reactive, non-hazardous, hydrophobic and easy to use. It comprises the essential elements necessary for the Bio-remediation process. Most biological processes consist of the breakdown and transfer of parts of molecules between various elements by microorganisms. It does not pose any problems for disposal. Being, biodegradable, the pads or booms can be placed in landfills for natural conversion to Bio-fertilizer. UROSORB booms and pads are available in required sizes and dimensions. The main speciality is that the absorbed oils and contaminants will be converted as bio- fertilizer.
