Super Mark Corporation offers a Nitrogen Booster Charging Unit for Accumulators. Hydraulic accumulator is an important component of hydraulic system that is used as back up storage of energy. All the types of accumulators like bladder, piston and diaphragm use nitrogen gas pressure to keep the oil inside accumulator in pressurised condition to be used in case of emergency. The nitrogen gas pressure or commonly called as charging pressure is dependent on the system pressure and generally varies from 10 to 250 bar. The nitrogen can be filled in the accumulator directly from cylinder up to pressure of 100 bar. However for charging pressures above 100 bar, one needs booster a unit. This booster unit is called nitrogen booster unit or nitrogen booster charger. The booster charger basically consists of piston accumulator or intensifier. The hydraulic pressure generated by hydraulic power pack is connected on one side of intensifier and is used to pressurise the nitrogen gas, which on the other side of the piston. The unit basically consists of the accumulator with hydraulic power pack, necessary instrumentation and controls required for monitoring the operation of the unit. The unit is designed to charge the accumulators up to 250-300 bar. Typical requirement of booster charging units is mainly in steel and steel processing industry, plastic injection moulding, seamless tube manufacturing and other industries.
