NB2 micro-controller based automatic function unit

AVK-SEG & Controls (India) Limited offers NB2 micro-controller based automatic function unit for emergency and standby power systems. NB2 has specially been developed for automation of power generating system, which includes more than just a program for starting diesel and gas engines. It also involves supervision of gensets, control and protection of generators, prime movers and the operating components of mains and generator circuit breakers. With an emergency power plant, the application of the low-cost micro-controller based SEGC-NB2 unit helps to reduce the costs of wiring and equipment. Further more, this compact hardware combined with multi-functional software meets all the specific customer requirements. This unit is suitable for 1-phase and 3-phase generator operation. Front panel indication is provided for circuit breaker status and abnormal conditions of mains/generator voltages and frequencies. Short-term memory of operational modes and CB positions during auxiliary voltage failure is possible. Storage of parameters if auxiliary voltage fails is another salient feature. High rated (16 A) potential-free contacts are available for control outputs. Numerous other features are - remote start feature, compact design and flush mounting, communication via RS 232 interface and modem, foil front plate with foil key board (IP54), four modes of operation (automatic, manual, test and off), battery voltage supervision, integrated over speed protection and eight channel fault annunciation.
