Softhard Automation offers Motor Protection Devices, m MPD-WOD. This is a microcontroller based motor protection device. This comes with the following features: in-built single phase (in partial load as well), unbalance and overload protection; extra wide range (with single turn) to reduce the inventory; isolated from power connection; provides accurate overload protection by virtue of high release time accuracy; environmental temperature does not affect on tripping curve; available as basic unit from 1-10A and 7-20A with single turn; and precise pot for overload current setting. Other features: highly accurate overload tripping curve for full range of setting; single phase protection - in case of phase loss; tripping is fast and accurate even in partial load; unbalance current protection (if the difference between any 2 phase > 40%); in-built three CTs for 3 phase current sensing; extra wide range for set current (with single turn, i.e., 1 to 10 A and 7 to 20 A) so no inventory; trip band is 1% and absolutely no nuisance tripping; less inventory and high flexibility by having wide range; isolated from power connection, hence no burning; and environmental temperature does not affect on tripping curve it is very accurate (since current sensing).
