Mobile substation transformers & substations must

Indo Tech, in technical collaboration with Moblesource Industries Inc, Ontario, Canada, manufactures Mobile substation transformers, which are used in these mobile substations. The main advantages of these mobile substations are: to meet short-term peak load condition at any particular substation; to meet the requirements of construction power; emergency replacement in case of failure of any substation equipment; these mobile units are manufactured with uni-fin coolers (OFAF cooled as per IEC FOA/ANSI standards) and have multi voltage ratios on the HV and LV side with up to 4 different voltages on both sides thereby enabling the use of these mobile substations over a range of voltages/ratings (substations) over a distance of a few hundred Kilometres. Large voltage ratings of transformers are manufactured with special insulation materials with the main aim of reducing the overall dimensions/weight of the unit to limit it within transportable limits. The range of mobile units being manufactured by Indo Tech is between 2.5 MVA up to 60 MVA/230 kV class.
