Hitek Engineers offers micro adjustable boring cartridges and units. This provides quick, easy boring tool adjustment while holding precise limits of accuracy. The company offers more standard cartridges in more sizes and in more carbide grades, including the provision for indexable inserts, than any other manufacturer of adjustable cutting tools, to ensure that, the correct tool and tool geometry can be selected for a specific application. Users can select from: brazed, carbide tipped cartridges for square (90?) or angular mounting; high speed steel cartridges; ISO triangular, pin lock/clamp, indexable insert cartridges for both boring and turning applications using industry standard carbide or diamond insert; ISO triangular, centre screw, indexable insert cartridges; ISO 80? Rhomboid, centre screw, indexable insert cartridges; and Posicut 75? Rhomboid, centre screw, indexable insert cartridges.
