Metallised Polypropylene Film capacitors

The MPP type capacitors consist of a low dielectric formed by pure polypropylene film. A thin self-healing mixture of zinc and aluminium is metallised directly on one side of PP film under vacuum. This technology ensures long operating life of capacitor. The capacitors are wound on a Swiss make, totally automatic winding machine. Ultra modern pneumatic control of winding machine delivers best possible winding MPP. The ends of capacitor windings are contacted by spraying with zinc spray layer facilitating a high current load and ensuring low inductance between the terminals and windings. The capacitor elements are dried in an oven. After insertion in to the cylindrical case, a viscous polyurethane resin is introduced. Oil filled capacitors are impregnated with NPCB oil. This protects the winding from environmental influence and provides extended life-expectance and stable capacitance. Jaivic self-healing type capacitors have high specific capacitance and high AC load capacity. Voltage range - 600 V AC, max; capacitance range - 3?f to 70?f standard; temperature range - 25?C to 70?C; tolerance (?10) - ?5% to ?10%; and terminal - 2 tine quick connect lug terminals.
