Metallic flexible hoses

Alfa Flexitubes offers Metallic flexible hoses. These hoses are tubing made flexible by forming convolutions on thin wall metallic tubings so that it may conveniently bend while remaining liquid and gas tight. The convoluted flexible tubings have external stainless steel wire braiding, which provides pressure strength to the hose. Suitable end connections are fitted to the required length of the hose by argon arc welding. These hoses are available in nominal diameters of 6 to 300 mm. Applications: these are widely used in industries like steel, chemical, fertilizers, and power plants, oil refineries, pharmaceutical, paper and glass industries and other process industries for transfer of fluids. Besides, short length metallic flexible connectors are used as pump and compressor connectors to eliminate vibrations in pipelines. Advantage: can withstand high temperatures up to 600?C and can be used with highly corrosive fluids (except chlorides); and easy and quick installation as compared to tedious rigid piping make it more useful item by process industries.
