METAL DETECTORS, Series GLS

Rieco Industries offers Metal Detectors, Series GLS. It is closed tunnel type with rectangular passage opening. It is used for conveyor belt applications. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal impurities in bulk and piece materials. Its closed design offers the advantage of a very high metal sensitivity in the complete tunnel area. The coil size can be selected as desired and depends on the respective application. The bulk and piece goods of large material height can also be examined with optimum detection accuracy. Typical applications: incoming inspection in the food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and plastics industry; examination of bagged goods with basic material and additives in a conveyor belt; outgoing inspection in the food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and plastic industry; and examination of bulk and piece goods (meat products, cheese, ice cream, chocolate, chocolates, gingerbread, chips, sweets, plastic raw materials, tablets). Performance features: optimum adaptation to customer-specific requirements: more than 200 coil sizes with two different passage openings available as standard; can be installed in any position; optimum detection in the complete tunnel area - in contrast to separable detection coils, the closed coils have no metal-insensitive zones at the tunnel sides; high mechanical stability; high noise immunity: to a large extent insensitive to vibration, impact and temperature variations; design - high-grade steel (glass bead blasted), steel and aluminium (varnished); and IP 65 protection.
