Mechanical Speed Variators

SM-Biester mechanical speed variators are manufactured by Sumitomo, Japan. These are dry traction type, with traction ring made of synthetics, having built-in torque compensator which automatically adjusts as per the load. These variators are designed for plant wash-down conditions having special seals, epoxy paint and special breather. Operation is smooth and noiseless. These variators are popular in pharmaceutical and food industries and effluent treatment plants. They are available from 0.25 HP to 10 HP, speed variation range of 1:5, and torques up to 20,00,000 in/lbs. These variators can be combined with any type of reduction units. Electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic remote control is available for speed change, manual speed change by a handwheel is standard. These are available in India without any import formalities and against rupee payment.
