MASTER SLAVE CONTROLLER

Presevi manufactures Master slave controller. It helps one to interconnect several air conditioning units to a single master controller as a building management system. This could result in considerable energy saving, low operational cost and short pay back period. In addition, one can monitor and control the conditioned area from remote locations, situated anywhere in the world, using password/ modem/ PSTN/ Internet, etc. This system basically consists of a master controller and several slave controllers. This can be connected to the Internet. Windows-based management software, PICMAS 4.0 was developed in-house for the operation. The master controller could be connected to the PC either at the site or at a remote location using PSTN and modem. This will enable one to monitor and control the conditioned area from a remote location situated anywhere in the world. The Master/ Slave controller system consists of a master controller and several slave controllers. The master controller, designed using a powerful micro controller, is provided with both RS485 and RS232 ports. The slave controllers are provided with a separate micro controller and operate the air conditioner units as per the set control parameters and interlocks. This could be connected to the master controller using RS 485 port. A PC/ modem could be connected to its RS 232 port.
