Altop Industries has introduced a microprocessor-based portable digital manometer suitable to measure either gauge pressure or differential pressure. The ranges available are 0 to ? 5/15/30/100 PSI. The units can be programmed in either bar, mmHg, ozin2, kg/cm2, PSI, in H2O, Kpa, ftH2O, inHg, cmH2O or mbar using front keys. It has 4-digit LCD display and works on 9 V battery. Housed in ABS plastic housing, this unit has an accuracy of ? 0.3% of FS and facility to hold data, record max/min pressures and has a backlight display. RS 232 interface along with software and cable can be provided in the unit optionally. The unit is fight weight, weighs just 150 gm and is an ideal replacement to conventional glass/plastic manometers. It is also an ideal calibration instrument, which can be used for calibration of differential pressure instruments like gauges/switches/transmitters.
