Magnetic Card Reader

Apollo's AP-550 is a stand-alone, 34-door, magnetic strip card reader/controller with alarm monitoring and flash memory that provides secure control of facility access. The unit does not require a control panel, expands from 1 to 34 doors, and features 3 serial ports, 4-line display, 1 MB flash memory, 20,000 cards or 6,500 events, secure control of door strike, and 8 supervised alarm zones. This low-cost product can be configured from an integral keypad or downloaded from a PC. Made of die-cast aluminium the AP-550 measures 14.2 by 12.6 by 3.6 cm.
