Machining options for rapid tooling insert

Progressive Components offers Machining options for rapid tooling insert. Machining of pre-engineered designs is provided for hot sprue bushings, counterview, installation, and ejector sleeve plates. Now an RTI may be ordered with a hot sprue bushing already installed, including wire channel and flush mount electrical connections. For applications with ejector sleeves, progressive"s sleeve plate design eliminates cumbersome tapered ear plates of the past. And for just-in-time tooling that will be run intermittently for years, Progressive"s new CV-R series CounterView fits into tight spaces on either half of the tool. Additional machining can now be provided with features such as finished pockets, alignment lock installation, and more. Features : pry slots, guided ejection, handling holes with T-handle and mould strap, and bolted pin plates allow the mould maker to immediately begin cavity/core work upon receipt. Also available are stainless steel frames, and pre-pocketed RTI complete inserts, with corresponding cavity and core inserts available in both a modified H-13, and also aluminium.
