Low hydrogen electrodes

Royal Arc Electrodes manufactures a range of general purpose electrodes. Low hydrogen electrodes, AES-E7018 and E.7018-1, are basic heavy coated, low hydrogen iron powder type electrode with excellent weld characteristics. Features include very smooth arc, medium penetration and least spatter with easy removable slag. The weld metal is ductile and is of radiographic quality. It is easy to operate in all positions and the deposition efficiency is approximately 115%. It is important to keep this electrode dry. Typical applications are in ship building, pipelines, bridges, boilers, pressure vessels, restrained joints, penstocks, blast furnace steel work, atomic reactor shell and pipe work.
