Loss-in-weight feeder

K-TRON (Suisse) SA manufactures K2 modular loss-in-weight feeders that provide precise feeding of bulk materials and liquids in the process industries. The storage hopper has vent port and material inlet on its lid. Bridge breaker and vertical agitator are optional material flow devices. The weighing system is a high precision Smart Force Transducer (SFT) with digital weight transmission from built-in microprocessor. It is a three-point suspended weighing system. Mounting ring provided supports the weighing system. Drive system features choice of feed range facility such as speed pick-up. Feeding bowl includes horizontal agitator for consistent screw fill. The bulk material outlet is horizontal or vertical (pressure compensation optional). Applications: Detergent industry, food industry and for plastic compounding
