Liquid Paraffins

Unicorn Petroleum Industries Private Limited offers Liquid Paraffins in two grades: light liquid paraffin and heavy liquid paraffin. They are manufactured using sophisticated technology, and are highly refined grades. Liquid Paraffin Light is having a viscosity of 25-80 mPa and Liquid Paraffin Heavy is having a viscosity of 110-230 mPa. Both comply with IP, BP and USP specifications. They are water white in colour, odourless and tasteless and also comply with UV absorbance test. Since they are pharmaceutical grade they can be used as liquid carriers for solid and semisolid substances in medicinal preparations. They find applications as parting agents for capsules, tablets and as a base for ointments. In cosmetics they can be used in hair oil compositions, in skin care creams, lotions, ointments, etc. As they are pharma grade they are useful as lubricants in food processing machinery, in food packaging, etc. They are also used for fruit preservation.
