Fibonacci Automation Consultancy Pvt Ltd, formerly Mitra Engineering, specialises in low cost high tech Lean Automation Solutions for industry. The company has also worked with defence organisation and is well versed with client confidentiality, also in the process exposed to various fields like metallurgy, electronics, tool design, composites, automation and design integration, etc. It has designed and developed various types of special purpose machines (SPMs), most of which have been exported globally via a sister concern. Examples of SPMs developed include: high pressure hydro testing for leak testing of composite tubing/vessels, etc., for pressures ranging from 1 bar to 400 bar; high pressure hydro cyclic testers for cyclic fatigue tests for pressure vessels; high pressure burst testing of CNG composite vessels/tanks; CNC routing machines for composite materials and wood; fibre optic winding machine (for Ministry of Defence); resin temperature controllers; flow forming machines for M/s Midhani and for M/s NFTDC (Ministry of Defence); carbon fibre tensioners used for high pressure gas vessels; robotic pick and place systems; and vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding system for manufacture of critical rocket components. The company has also developed a high speed and extremely sensitive carbon fibre tensioning system that has being designed and developed for the production of high pressure composite CNG cylinders and other high tensile applications like helicopter rotor blades and wind mill blades, etc. It is the only company in India and probably the 2nd in the world to develop this niche technology.
