It is used to measure the RPM of any rotating object in industrial engines, generators, compressor, fans, gears or any other rotating shafts, etc. It is battery operated hand held equipment. It is simple to operate. Operation: aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on the rotating device, push the button and the reading in RPM is immediately displayed. It can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM resolution. It comes with hard vinyl case, battery, and set of reflective tapes. Advantages: detects RPM from up to 6 feet away; high intensity laser beam not affected by shop lights, etc; has a memory function, which gives maximum, minimum and average RPM readings; and no contact with shaft or wheel is necessary.
