LASER MARKING SYSTEMS

Electrox offers Laser Marking Systems, Cobra ES. It offers a viable and inexpensive alternative to more traditional marking systems. It is a fully integrated laser marking solution complete with control electronics, software, safety workstation and workpiece focussing mechanism. It is based on a diode pumped Nd:YAG laser which is guaranteed for a true 10,000 hours. The laser controller has been redesigned and is now offered as a hand held unit that is attached magnetically to the laser workstation and can be operated in any position convenient to the operator and the actual job in hand. Marking field is 140 mm, with the option of 220 mm. Control is through powerful intuitive software which provides for maximum marking versatility. Easy to learn and use, the software is compatible with all current versions of Windows and can import a wide range of graphic file formats, generate bar codes, two dimensional codes and data codes as well as perform automatic serialisation, conduct merges with data from external sources. The Cobra ES has USB communications, a galvo beam scanning system and DSP Galvo drives. The control console allows control of the laser and the ability to select previously downloaded marking files. The unit has an LCD display which shows the status of the laser and comprehensive diagnostics. All optical components are mounted on a single rigid rail, which is enclosed to be fully sealed against the ingress of dust. Cooling is fully integrated.
