LAMCER - EPOXY CLADDING

Industrial & Power Solutions offers Lamcer Epoxy Cladding. The coating process is done by epoxy resin to get optimum bonding on any metal surfaces with minimal surface preparation. This coating incorporates lamellar type ceramic particles specially coated that will overlap one over the other. The resin is specially prepared to resist seawater corrosion, erosion and impingement effects. It is done to a thickness of about 1500 microns on the water box side. It will be done to a thickness of about 4000 microns on the tube sheet, thickness of about 1500 microns on the doors; and about 100 microns on the tube entry point to a depth of 150 mm. It has high Resistivity so that the galvanic currents cannot pass through it even though highly conductive seawater is present. It will not dislodge from the surface like rubber lining or fibre glass lining, as it is integrally bonded with the surface. It is so designed to have a similar expansion and contraction profile that of the metal so that there cannot be a bonding failure.
