Labels and Ribbons

Mahanth offers Labels and Ribbons. The product range includes the following:

Chromo Art and Mirror Cote
Chromo Art and Mirror Cote is a paper based Label suitable for barcode and general label. It can be supplied in multi colour in roll from also in sheet form.
 
Metalised Polyster and Polyproplene Label
Polyester label can be used for variable number printing in barcode and also in general label printing. It has longevity and does not fade out or smudge. Metalised polyester is used for product description and also in automobile industry. It can be supplied with a special kind of adhesive to withstand heat the print in metalised polyester is also water proof.
 
Removable Label
Removable Label can be peeled off without wear and tear and without making any mark of label.
 
Write & Protect Label
Write & Protect Label is a speciality label where a sleeve is provided separately with the label. The sleeve is half laminated and the balance half is provided with release paper. The text written in the label can be protected by removing the release paper.

Tamper Proof & Thermal Evident
Tamper Proof & Thermal Evident is a kind of label where any effort is applied to remove the label. The label breaks off and they become tamper proof and also leaves a mark of the surface.
 
Shipping Label
Shipping Label is a large form label used for shipping specifications, which can also be used for bar code printing.
 
Pharmaceutical Label & Fixed Asset Label
Pharmaceutical Label & Fixed Asset Label is available in multi colour with UV resistant ink.
 
Drum Label
Drum Label is a large label with security die cut, so that label cannot be removed from the drum in full.
 
Thermal Transfer Ribbons
Thermal ribbons come in three main types - Wax, Wax-Resin or Pure Resin and are almost always black (other colours sometimes used are red and blue). These different types are made to print onto different label materials and are used when the life of the label needs to be long or the labels need to survive harsh environments.

• Wax ribbons are for printing onto paper labels, where the life of the label has shelf life. And it cannot withstand wet conditions but must be kept dry and must not be abraded or subjected to certain chemicals or oil, which would melt the wax image.
• Wax-Resin ribbons product a finer image on very smooth paper or coated paper labels. The printed image is much more durable than wax, but can still only stand slight contact with water.  It is partly fused on to the labels.
• Pure Resin ribbons are fully fused onto the labels such as polyester, polypropylene and vinyl. And becomes extremely durable, depending on the plastic material and ribbon make used.
