Instrument transformers

Hames Industries manufactures offers Instrument transformers. These resin cast instrument transformers in the medium voltage range from 3.6 to 36 kV. These are manufactured at a fully equipped plant and the range includes various ratings to meet all requirements. The entire range has been fully type tested as per IS 2705-1995 / IS 3156-1992 to ensure conformance with the latest Indian and international standards. The active part consists of prime quality non-ageing cold rolled grain oriented (CRGO) steel and enameled copper wire procured from reputed manufacturers, ensuring a high quality and long life product. The active part is essentially cast under vacuum conditions with the resin mix also prepared under vacuum conditions in a sophisticated mixing and impregnation plant. The transformers are provided with a mounting plate at the bottom for ease of installation. A transparent cover facilitating a visual check of connections protects the secondary terminals. Also the cover can be sealed, thus making it tamper proof. Routine tests as well as stage inspections are conducted in a fully equipped test laboratory, all testing equipment calibrated in NABL approved laboratory periodically. Features: compact design; non-hygroscoping and hence no ageing; no fire risk; high electrical and mechanical strength; product can be mounted in any direction; and maintenance free.
