Hydrocyclone Parts Made Of Excellthane

To ensure correct formulation, the products are physically tested for tensile strength, elongation, hardness and peel strength. Tests are carried out to ensure lining adhesion to the parent material. Presently there are various types of material/liners in use like rubber, Mn steel, stainless steel, UHMW, polyethylene, Ni-hard, basalt, ceramics, mild steel, etc. Each has got its own limitations, which restrict their usage. Excellthane polyurethane, a petrochemical product has a proven record performance against above materials and accepted by the customers worldwide as an ideal material for abrasion resistant, corrosion, erosion, impact, aging, water absorption, ozone, hydrolysis growth, etc. Because of its long life performance, it is cost effective while polyurethane has advantages like: extra long lasting service life; extra low loss productive and reduces unscheduled downtime; extra economical operation and high efficiency; and noise reduction, light weight and easy to handle (1/7 of steel). Excellthane cyclone apexes installed in various mines/concentrators have shown up to 5 times the wear life of rubber. When compared to ceramic apexes, Excellthane has exhibited up to 80% of the wear life at a fraction of the cost. Excellthane parts are currently available to fit all types of cyclones.
