R & D Multiples (Metal Cast) Pvt Ltd offers hydraulically operated pump discharge valve. This valve can act both as on-off valve and non-return valve with non-slam and desired `travel time? features. A double acting/single acting hydraulic cylinder opens the valve at desired time. During stoppage of pump, the counter weight closes the valve in such a way that 90 per cent of the disc travels fast towards close position and 10 per cent travel is very slow because of the cushioning bush in the hydraulic cylinder. This causes non-slam closure. Another important feature of the valve operation is that the travel time for opening as well as closing can be altered to suit site condition by adjusting the flow control valves in the hydraulic circuit. Total HOPD valve package consists of the valve, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic circuit consisting of tubing and control valves, and a hydraulic oil tank on which hydraulic pump and motor are mounted.
