Hydraulic vertical surface grinding machine

Kuttukaran-SG 1500 is a high precision hydraulic vertical surface grinding machine with milling facility and has two motors in wheel head to facilitate grinding and milling. Manufactured by Kuttukaran Machine Tools, Cochin, the rugged and heavy construction and precision components of the machine provide mechanical reliability. Machine base, table and column are made of close-grained graded alloy castings and the wheel head spindle is provided with heavy, precision taper roller bearings. This machine is ideal for engine rebuilders, manufacturers and general engineering applications. In the automotive industry it is capable of grinding and milling the cylinder blocks and heads made of cast-iron or aluminium alloys. The machine is available complete with tool holder, a segmental grind wheel of 350 mm diameter complete with set of grinding segments (10pcs), and parallel rests that are 130 mm high with side plates for clamping heads and engine blocks. It is also equipped with a wheel balancing shaft and a grinding wheel dresser complete with star wheels. Coolant system with electric pump and coolant tank, and a set of service tools are the standard accessories.
