Bipico offers HSS Tool Bits. It cuts cost by fewer regrinds; reducing machine done time; reducing labour cost; and reducing wastage of expensive work materials. It is available in - square, rectangular, round and parting-off-blades. Grades: BP101 (0% cobalt), BP202 (5% cobalt), BP303 (8% cobalt), and BP404 (10% cobalt). Correct grinding method: use of soft wheel, appropriately dressed; apply light pressure and constantly rotate the tool bit surface to avoid dis-colouration or burning of the cutting edge; avoid extreme change of temperature gradient; do not dip the hot tool in cold water [otherwise the tool will develop surface cracks (hairline cracks) which reduce the tool efficiency and life]; and do interrupted grinding to avoid heat generation.
