HORIZONTAL TUBE HONING MACHINES

Arihant Industrial Corporation offers Horizontal Tube Honing Machines, Arihone 500 HHM x 5000. It is ideal for long hydraulic and pneumatic tubes/ pipes up to 500 mm bore and 5 m stroke length. It has spindle rotation through electric motor with AC frequency converter and load sensing device. Reciprocation is through hydraulic cylinder and tool expansion is through servomotor. The tube is clamped on the machine bed with "V" support and chain. The honing tool and arbor are supported on telescopic rest, during honing operation. The machine has a feature of automatic taper correction. The tool senses the taper area in the tube and accordingly adjusts its feed rate to remove the stock from taper portion. Different feed rates can be programmed depending upon the pre condition of the tube. The machine then selects the feed rate automatically. PLC/ CNC controls ensure accurate size control within H7 tolerance and geometrical accuracies within 0.02 mm/m. Surface roughness of 0.1mRa or better can be achieved with the machine. Inter locks are programmed to safe guard the operation. Machine and honing tool with 8000 mm stroke and 800 mm diameter are also available.
