Micro-Matic offers a Horizontal Honing Machine, MES-AHHM-01. It is quite versatile and combines the speed of grinding with the accuracy of lapping. The honing process is high precision and economical. Features: provided with auto stroking for high bore accuracy, surface finish and productivity; electronic timer circuit is with digital display, buzzer and auto control arrangement; accommodates a variety of jobs with different sizes, shapes and length; various fixtures can be easily and quickly installed to the stroking arm of machine; operated in 5-6 different modes as per the requirement of components and feed rates, stroke length, stroke speed, spindle speeds can be adjusted. Specifications: horizontal type; power & manual stroking; internal diameter range: for power stroking 3 mm diameter to 95 mm diameter, for manual stroking 3 mm diameter to 165 mm diameter; length of open end or blind end bores, up to 250 mm; spindle speeds 200, 250, 320, 400, 500, 640, 800, 1000, 1270, 1600, 2000, 2500 RPM; and stroking rates 80, 110, 160, 220, 310 strokes/min. The machine thus provides practical and economical solution to the complicated and tiring process of bore finishing.
