Hollow Shaft Encoders

P G Electronics offers Hollow Shaft Encoders, EN-701. These are available in all the resolutions, covers range of up to 10000 PPR in 40 variants. These coders are easy to fix, one can slide it over a shaft and secure it by means of its clamp. The "through shaft" version needs no coupling and saves a lot of mounting space. The coder accepts voltage at levels 5 V or 10-30 V, switching frequency up to 150 kHz, in 6 channels, has a Euro standard diameter of 58 mm and bore sizes of 14, 12 and 10 mm. These are ideal for applications where no extra shaft extensions are available for coupling of an encoder and where space saving is the main criteria. It supplements the already existing large range of shaft encoders, heavy duty, absolute and miniature versions of PGcoders.
