Hoist

Century Crane Engineers offers hoist for use in material handling. It is designed in modular construction with each component having easy access for maintenance purpose. The rope drum, gearbox, motor, brake and panel can be easily attended to. The frame is of sturdy design fabricated from steel plates and is welded/bolted type. Steel wire rope with minimum factor of safety of 5 is provided as per IS: 3938. Complete gear train for hoisting motion is in an enclosed casing, provided with oil bath lubrication. The gears are made from alloy steel. Forged steel shank type hook with thrust bearing for swivel is incorporated. Trapezoidal section hook conforms to IS: 3815 or IS: 8610. Motors are of squirrel cage 40% CDF rating in Class "F" insulation as per IS 325:1970, of reputed make. The hoist motor is fitted with an electro-magnetic brake of shoe/disc type. The brake is designed for 150% of load torque to ensure safe holding of the load. Thrustor brake, if required, can be accommodated. The hoist is controlled from ground level by means of pendent type push buttons operating on low voltage of 110 V to ensure safety of the operator. Control panel is enclosed type with easily removable cover, complete with contactors, transformer and fuses.
