Hinged steel belt conveyor

Universals Conveyors offers hinged steel belt conveyor. These are most versatile type of conveyors, which can handle almost any kind of chips, designed especially and robustly, keeping in mind the hazards that are normally encountered during handling heavy swarf. The completely enclosed construction makes these conveyors ideal to transport small parts as well. The body is manufactured from pressed steel structure with reinforcements. The guide rails are so designed to ensure smooth movement of rollers. The hinged slats are pressed in steel plates, with minimum gap between them so that even fine chips does not interfere. The overlapping side guards protect the moving rollers from interference of chips. Carrier plates welded at regular intervals ensure positive carrying of chips. Rollers are made of wear resistance material with hardened and ground components for longer life and segmented types in bigger size conveyors are manufactured. Conveyors with or without coolant tanks, pumps, intergrated coolant systems are also manufactured. Conveyors are manufactured in 3 different pitches of hinged belts of 38.1 mm, 63.5 mm and 101.6 mm Width ranges from 100 mm to 1200 mm. Special heavy duty designs are available on request. Length of conveyors up to 5 mtr in single and segmented types in bigger sizes, is manufactured.
