High Precision Comparator

Microcators are Precision Comparators having special torsion-type mechanism different from the mechanism of conventional plunger-type dial gauges. This ensures very low friction movement of the spindle. It results in very high sensitivity, accuracy and long life. These features make Microcators highly reliable mechanical comparators for the inspection of precision parts. They are available with shank diameters of 8 mm and 28 mm. Resolutions available are 0.001 mm and 0.0005 mm (only for 28 mm dia shank). Microcators with 28 mm dia shank are for heavy duty and have agate contact tip for high wear resistance. The measuring ranges are 0.03 mm and 0.015 mm as per the resolution. These can be mounted on standard comparator stands with clamping diameter of 8 mm or 28 mm as per the shank diameter.
